Jennifer Merchant

After graduating from the Metals and Jewelry program at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005 I found myself a bit lost. I no longer had access to the tools and equipment I had become accustomed to in creating my work. I started experimenting with non metal materials that I could more easily work with in my limited home studio. I began to focus my efforts on acrylic and worked to find a way to layer and bond imagery within the acrylic to make things more interesting. I had an extensive magazine collection and began clipping pages to use in my jewelry. This is when my now signature layered acrylic collection was born. In 2010 I began making my jewelry full time, and have since expanded the layered acrylic repertoire to include a collection of pieces layered with 23k gold instead of paper.

Olivia Shih

Olivia Shih was born in the States and grew up on the humid, subtropical island of Taiwan. When a bachelor's in creative writing from Columbia University couldn't help her reconcile her two vastly different worlds, she found herself drawn into the jewelry and metal arts program at the
California College of the Arts. Find out more at www.oliviashih.com.

Charlotte Verity

I am a designer-maker of contemporary art jewellery, specialising in silver and small scale hot glass techniques. My pieces of jewellery are often inspired by Light; they reflect or refract light from external sources, or emit their own light through fluorescence or phosphorescence, while other pieces are inspired by vibrant city lights at night. I love to juxtapose vivid colours against monochromatic schemes and incorporate intricate detail into the work. Coloured glass components and gemstones ensure I can maintain bright, colourful elements in the pieces. Current collections combine blown glass components with silver, gold, lustres, enamels and faceted stones.
